Preston County held its first of several meetings Tuesday evening about the maintenance levy proposal to be placed on November's ballot.
Voters will decide whether or not to renew the levy.
The bond committee went over all of the improvements levy funds have already made in the county.
"We are showing the citizens what the improvements have been with school systems. What we have accomplished with the current levy and explain exactly what the changes are," said chairman Berry Weber.
Other meetings will be held at Preston High School on Monday, October 15; in Tunnelton-Denver on Tuesday, October 16; in Aurora on Wednesday, October 17; and at Kingwood Elementary on Thursday, October 18.
All meetings will start a 6 p.m. at each location.
