United Hospital Center in Harrison County will provide free cancers screenings for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
UHC said one in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer and it is doing what it can, to provide more women with diagnostic procedures.
The hospital will provide free mammograms and pap smears to uninsured and under-insured women.
"Everyone needs to talk to their health care provider on identifying what might be that certain recipe to prevent it or find it at its earliest stages," said Linda Carter of UHC.
You must register for the screenings by calling 800-607-8888.
The screenings will be available this Friday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
