The Fairmont General Hospital Foundation is working on a $500,000 campaign called "Improving Women's Health."
The foundation wants to purchase a new diagnostic digital mammography unit for the Radiology Department.
Fairmont General has partnered with First Exchange Bank for the "Go Green Think Pink" campaign.
Officials said $15 will be donated for every First Exchange Bank customer that switches to online statements.
"First exchange bank has been extremely supportive of us and extremely supportive of the campaign," said foundation coordinator Whitney Hatcher. "They know a lot about the importance of community and a lot about the importance of a community hospital."
Almost $400,000 has been pledged since last October.
The foundation hopes to raise the rest of the funds by the end of the month and have the new machine by December.
