Babe Ruth State Tournament Gets Underway in Nutter Fort

Rainy weather caused the 2012 15-year-old Babe Ruth State Tournament to start a day late. Games were scheduled to begin on Wednesday night. The first games of the tournament were played Thursday afternoon.

All games are at Frank Loria Field in Nutter Fort.

Harrison County, Elkins, Taylor County, Logan, Huntington South East and Ceredo-Kenova are the teams in the tournament.

Fans can catch games through Saturday at least. Weather may change dates and times.

Elimination bracket games, Noon and 2:30 p.m.

Winners, 5 p.m.

Elimination bracket game, 7:30 p.m.

Elimination bracket final, 1 p.m.

Championship game, 3:30 p.m.


Sunday, July 22

Second championship game, if necessary, 1 p.m.
