On this week's Test It Tuesday we try Grill Daddy!
Grill Daddy is a dish-washer safe 'revolutionary grill-cleaning tool' that is supposed to steam away baked-on food and grease.
We tried it on our WBOY grill which was pretty dirty.
For best results, pre-heat your grill for 10 minutes.
Next, fill Grill Daddy with water, switch the water valve on and start scraping away.
Do not use soap or other cleaning detergents when using Grill Daddy, only water.
I started scraping away and the results were almost instantaneous. The water, combined with the hot grill plates, created a steaming affect that melted the old food right off.
Our grill hadn't been cleaned since last year and had a thick layer of who-knows-what on top!
I was immediately surprised at how easy Grill Daddy was for me to use.
Grill Daddy said it will 'clean with the power of steam'.
It took me less than 10 minutes to get our dirty and smelly grill grates ready for our next WBOY barbeque!
I found Grill Daddy at a local drugstore for less than $10, and I think it was definitely worth the money.
It's a simple way to clean your grill without the use of harsh chemicals.
Plus, you can throw it in your dishwasher when you're done.
