Pilots who are flying commuter airline flights, like the ones used by our smaller state airports, are being pulled up to fly for the larger airlines. This is to fill the seats of pilots that are now retiring at the required age of 65. This is not only leaving a lag for flights going in and out of our airports, it could possibly effect the way current state companies do business, and prevent new ones from moving into the state.
